Cannot recommend highly enough Khori and the team at Hines building solutions. They have done a fabulous job converting a garage to a playroom for our new arrival.

They were always very polite, courteous and efficient, keeping all areas as clean and tidy as possible as they worked, and sticking to their proposed time schedule as best they could. Some delays did occure due to issues with materials, which was an unforeseen issue and something out of their control. However, they did their best to keep us informed and up to date on the situatuon throughout this time.

Overall i am very pleased with the end result, and would definitely hire them again.

Hi, I would like to write a review to the owner of Hines building solutions (mr hines)as I did not get to meet him only spoke with him on the phone and and say thank you and just to let him know how respectful and helpful his staff are especially John and warren who was doing work on my neighbours house which he is very happy with the end result, John and (sweetly) helped me after they finished work dispose of my garden shed which was very old and the 8 slabs that it was laid on and they put it in there skip they had next door when I ask mr Hines how much he said make the guys a nice lunch on Friday!

Such nice trades men after being let down in the past by trades men.

I initially commissioned HBS to carry out the renovation on my upstairs bathroom. The team of trades men completed the first job to such a high standard that I felt confident tasking them with the complex business of converting my kitchen extension and loft space. HBS employ polite professionals, that are equipped with the skills and expertise to get the job done. They are extremely good value for money and an easy organisation with work with.

Though there were some minor problems with getting specialist building materials delivered on time, I am 100% satisfied and impressed with the work carried out and would recommend HBS to anyone seeking a qualify finish.

I’ve known this group of builders and their CEO on a personal level for many years. Feedback from people that had hired them was always positive, so they were the obvious choice when I decided to do a basement excavation and take my one bed ground floor terrace flat to a three bedroom. Lovely finish, really good value for money, nice friendly builders, smooth transition from a 1 bed to a 3. Easy bunch of people to communicate with. They kept my neighbours updated on matters associated with the build like large deliveries, length of time the dig would take, use of industrial machinery. Builders kept external mess to a minimum. What impressed me the most about the team was, they were always hard at work when I arrived on site. Never slacking. Vibe was also positive, and they appeared to work very well as a team. They worked things out together and got to it. It was nice to watch and be a part of. Project manager, good fella. My only gripe which was out of HBS control was the delay caused by getting our regular supply of building materials. That aside, my build was a positive experience.

Hines were recommended to me by a neighbour. I liked the look of their work and employed them to reconfigure and renovate my mother’s 2 bed bungalow. I expected it to be a bit tricky and for there to be some complications because of the unusual floor plan, but the project manager took regular time out to consult with me and mum. The working relationship was good, nothing was an issue. Everything was resolvable and achievable. The builders kept mess and disruption to a minimum. The build did take slightly longer then expected (3 weeks) and cost few hundred more (due to unforeseen electoral problems), but we are so pleased with the result that I really can’t complain.

Job well done in mine & mums’ opinion.

Covid made it difficult for us to get the materials needed to build up and out on a semi detached 4 bed fixer upper, which created a delay to the overall renovation. What I liked most about this firm was how conscientiously they worked with my neighbours. Lovely team of people. I was kept informed, very professional consultation process. They offered some useful ideas, they worked well with my firm of architects.

Nice group of people to work with who got the work done to a very impressive standard. The operation was well coordinated. Builders were always on site and on time. Problems with building equipment got sorted without drama. Happy.

My son selected Hines after vetting about 30 or so local firms. All I can say is he chose well. I were fixing my house up to sell it because I wanted to downsize. I started by renovating the downstairs by opening it up and creating site lines to the garden space. I couldn’t leave after the work was complete as I enjoy living here so much now. Just before Christmas we got to work on the upstairs. I have an on-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. It’s a different house. Having nice honest tradesmen in and out of my house wasn’t a problem because they were all so charming. They were happy to clean up. The overall coast of both jobs was really good value for money. They came and did what they were paid to do. I am happy to recommend these people to anyone.
